I had one for a pet when I was a kid. Only because it's mother had abandoned it as a baby, and it didn't know how to survive on it's own. Their paws are very similar to our hands. And, they use them the same as we do, too. They don't have glands to make saliva, so, they dip all of their food in water and "wash" it before eating it, so, that it will be easier to swallow. They are a lot of fun to watch! But, can also be very dangerous, even as pets. The one I had attacked me, out of fear, because, someone scared her. She didn't mean to hurt me, but, was only trying to protect herself. Once she calmed down, she was back to being her usual nice, loving self. But, they never lose that wild instinct.
