My Chihuahua, Eddie, in his new "Hunting Outfit" that he got for his third birthday from his "Grandma." He loved his new gift. He thought it was a toy, and played with it for hours after we took it off of him.
Funny you should say that...my sister says this shot reminds her of the guy in the movie "Grumpy Old Men." I've never seen the movie, so, I have no idea what she's talking about. Glad you got a out of it! He aims to please!
When they get sleepy, they get sleepy in a hurry, don't they? My little one falls asleep with his head on my shoulder, just like a baby. It's so sweet! My mom makes fun of him all the time, calling him a "baby!" He's so spoiled! I can imagine how much he didn't want that on his head if he was sleepy. Poor little guy!
Thank you so much, and for the , too! But, I just don't understand why you would be suggesting a "Pampered Pooch" site like that for Eddie??! Of course, I'm joking! I bookmarked the site IMMEDIATELY!! It's right up his alley! He is so spoiled! Thank you so much for suggesting it!
Yeah....! Look at him! He puts up with so much, doesn't he?! Really, though, he doesn't mind as much as you think he would. He thinks clothes are his toys, and loves to run through the house playing with them. When I saw that hunting cap in the store, I laughed out loud and knew I had to buy it! Thanks for the comments and ALL the 's! You've been a busy lady!! I really appreciate it, too!
Oh Wow! This is just the cutest thing I have ever seen. I can't stop smiling. Eddie is really, really adorable. It's no wonder he has stolen your heart, you are not gonna get it back ya know, it's so on. LOL
Ummm...well...a gun?? Do ya think that's a good idea considering the outfit he's got on? I mean...he "acts" like he likes it and all...but, I'm always a little leery of retaliation! Maybe one of those little "pop" guns wouldn't hurt, too much! Thanks for the 's:, Jack! Much appreciated!
Ohhh, yeah, you're right! They do hurt! And, so do paint balls, so, I guess marshmallows would be the way to go. He can EAT those! (His #1 love is eating, if you can't tell from his "growing boy" physique!")
Isn't it though? My mom's idea of a birthday gift for Eddie. He's a grandma's boy, so...he loved it, of course! He would've sat on her lap all day with that stupid outfit on, I think, if I would've let him. But, it was about 75-80 degrees that day...warm for this time of year...and very warm for a dog in a hunting jacket and hat!! So, when I finally got it off of him, he thought it had somehow turned into his new toy and took off running through the house with it. Played with it for the rest of the afternoon! Silly dog! That's my Eddie!
Hahaha! Cute. Happy Birthday Eddie! My foster chihuahua used to do that with anything I'd try to put on him to keep him warm outside. Only he'd rip it off himself, and then play with it. He come back in shivering, with the sweater in his mouth, but happy as a clam
Eddie thanks you for the birthday wishes! He had a fantastic day! He had so many visitors that day! I couldn't believe how many people showed up for a "dog birthday party!" Even my teenage niece and her NEW boyfriend! I'll bet that kid thought "wha...??" : But, he acted like he was having a good time. And, he's a good kid, too. Real polite and sweet. He even asked my mom if she wanted a hug before he left. I thought that was really sweet! We all loved him, right away! Back to Ed, though! His day was great, and he was spoiled rotten (er) as you can tell. funny thing about Eddie, he doesn't like to wear his clothes OUTSIDE, for warmth and protection from the weather, like they are intended. He just likes to wear them indoors to "model" for the camera, and then play with them as toys. I just tried to put the same little vest on him to take him out in the rain, to pee, so he wouldn't get soaked, and he whined the whole way! "Kids!" I got a great visual image of your little foster Chi standing at the door with the sweater! Cute!!
He is a great kid! We all love him! What makes it even better...we've learned his aunt was one of the nurses that took care of my mom while she was in ICU. One of our "favorite" nurses! And, she still remembers my mom and all of our family! Of all the patients and families she has to take care of, how impressive is that?! She's the nurse that I begged on the first night in ICU to let me stay in the room, after the others had given me a blanket and pillow and thrown me out to the lobby. I went up to her and said "please...I promise...I won't talk to her, I won't touch her...I won't even look at her, if you don't want me to, but, I HAVE to be in the same room with her! I promise I won't even move!" And, I didn't! I sat there on the edge of my seat with tears streaming down my face and splashing onto the floor, because there weren't even any tissues in the room! No tissues in an ICU room! Who ever heard of that? Well...I guess the pt. really can't get up to get them, tho, right? So, probably not a real necessity! Anyway, we really like the little guy and his whole family. He's as cute as can be, too. We just can't stop looking at him, he's so cute! I think, if they ever break up, our whole family will sit on the couch, cry and eat ice cream or whatever teenagers do now, when they break up with their boyfriends!!
Yeah, Martha! He was a proud little man! But, it was a rather warm day that day, so, we couldn't let him wear it for as long as he would've liked, but, he did get to play with it, after we took it off of him. So, he liked that just as much! And, NO! We sure don't want him to get spoiled any more than he already is! Thank you so much for the kind words and the ! You know how much I appreciate it, and all of the encouragement! This photo would've never made it to the public eye, had it not been for your gentle nudging, my friend!
